Tevin Irvin Plaate is better known by his stage name: Spanker. Tevin was born on May 20, 1990, in Amsterdam. Spanker is seen as one of the best-known music producers in the Netherlands. He works a lot with Dutch rappers CHO, Frenna & Broederliefde. His beats are also used by global artists like BTS and Chris Brown. Plaate came in contact with music at the age of twelve by experimenting with making beats on his sister’s friend’s computer. At the age of seventeen, Tevin made his first beat for the artist Sjaak. The best-known songs Spanker has worked on are: ‘Rompe’, ‘Give Dem’ and ‘Shotdown’.
