Oro Solido

Origin: Dominican Republic

Oro Solido is a merengue group from New York (translated into English it means “Solid Gold”). The group was founded by Raul Acosta (nickname: “El Presidente”), and consists of three members, which also include Angel Suriña and Raymond Aponte. Oro Solido has sold several albums, their music has even been heard in movies and has been played on tropical music channels since 1995. With hits like “Ta Cache,” “La Tanguita Roja,” “Maria se Fue,” “El Baile del Beeper,” “Una Nalgadita,” “La Morena,”, Oro Sólido, positions itself as one of the greatest Latin music groups in the world.
