Canadian producer Mathew Jonson comes from a musical family and it shows in his productions. Whilst essentially a house and techno producer, Jonson has also been involved in many crossover projects including Cobblestone Jazz, Midnight Operator and the Modern Deep Left Quartet. With quality techno releases on labels such as Michael Mayer’s Kompakt and Richie Hawtin’s M_nus, there’s hardly a selector on the scene who hasn’t supported his music. As much a gifted DJ as he is a producer, Jonson profits from his wildly diverse musical background, as he effortlessly blends bits of electro, drum & bass and house into his adventurous techno sets.
